Sailing along the seas of Gigantes Islands

Quite some time ago, I heard from a friend that "one should take a leap of faith because fear only happens after the fall" and believe me when I say that I've never been much convinced by a quote than that one did, leading me to label that as my mantra up to this day.

I think once in our lives, we should go for something risky, and so guess what I did this Summer of 2023?

I explored the beauty of Island Hopping!

   The boat we rode on

When we went on our Ilo Ilo trip, the first main thing that was written on our itinerary was Island Hopping and so in this blog post, I will be sharing some stills that were captured during our breathtaking adventure around the beautiful Isla de Gigantes!

Taken when we were waiting for our boat at Bancal Port

                                                             Snippets

Hi!
The pictures in this blog post are actually arranged in a chaotic manner hahaha kindly bear with it :))

We set foot on 3 mini-islands: Cabugao, Antonia and Pulo Pandan. However, in this post, the pictures are actually randomized, and it'll be short than usual. Just fixate your gaze on the stills! <33

We were supposed to visit 5 in total, but the clouds cried during that time, so we only visited three. Nonetheless, it was fun!

Since it was my first time to island hop, I wasn't able to contain myself but scream every time I felt like the boat was flying through the air hahahha! You know what, the waves became angrier as we went along since the weather wasn't that nice at the time, what an experience!

It's been almost 3 weeks since our trip has passed yet my titas still can't get over the funny story of how I screamed all throughout the said water activity that I passed out (slept) and almost got hit by the boat's anchor! (I'm not even gonna tell the story about this, it's way too funny and embarrassing, but it's a good thing I'm still alive)     >.<

Being able to travel is a nice thing yet meeting new people and new places all at once is nicer. Since we stayed at the same hotel, the three of us and Kuya Ares met one another. We also went island hopping together.

This blog post's looking like a photo album of these two bruhas hahahha fr

Risky yet fulfilling, this is how I'd describe my first-time experience with Island Hopping, so friends, if you still haven't, I think it's time for you to try it too!

Hey, thank you for reading up until here! :)

I hope this somehow inspired you to tour around Gigantes Islands.
Well, if you are planning to go on an Island Hopping, I suggest that you book a place/hotel that is just around Carles or somewhere near Port Bancal (the one where boats for island hopping wait for passengers):

I actually have a place to recommend, Chateu de Aow.

This is where we stayed in Carles. The old woman who owned the place was so nice and approachable. You'll really feel as if you're at home and have a grandmother who's taking care of you. If she was a place, then she'll definitely be her own property (Chateu de Aow) hahaha since the ambience there is warm and cozy and so is she as a person.

Guess we all share the idea that old people really are warm & cozy by nature <3

You can actually search their place up through this link:

P.S: For those who are asking, all of my pictures are taken using a Nikon Camera and I just edit them using my phone :))

Next up, I'll write about the 22 places we visited in Ilo Ilo City!
