The Good Place Café CDO: A Haven of Solace and Delight

A delicate designed café exudes an indescribable sense of solace, as its pleasing interior aesthetics could be considered a feast for the eyes, don't you think?

Apart from that, the cool beverages being served quench even the deepest thirst. Not to mention the relaxing ambience of these places that make you feel as if you're at home. I bet you are already daydreaming about the wonderful feeling that a café can evoke in your heart. So, if you're planning to visit one now, in an hour or so, or even tomorrow, I have just the right recommendation to share!

A Minimalist Oasis

The Good Place Café is a new gem located at 2nd 21st street Nazareth, Cagayan de Oro City. Once you enter through the doors of the said café, you will immediately notice how clean the place looks as it has a minimalist interior. An almost all-white design gives the café a delicate and alluring look. Well as one knows, you can never go wrong with white, it's a classic!

The Staff's welcoming embrace

I've always loved going to cafés, yet I'm not just keen of the food they serve and the ambience it has but on top of the list lies the question, "Is the staff good?" I bet we can all agree on the fact that the nicer the people who serves the food, the yummier it gets when you eat it!

The Good Place Café doesn't just make good food but also has an accommodating staff. When I visited the place, a cute Chinita girl with brownish-reddish curly hair was the one who took my order. She was very nice and was even smiling while listing down the things I wanted. Unfortunately, I forgot to focus on her name tag, but if you happen to be reading this, I want to say thanks. And I forgive you for calling me "Laida" instead of "Lady" hahaha, kidding aside!

Aside from the minimalist design the café has, what kept my curiosity at peak was the little card the Chinita girl handed to me. The only time I got to possess cards like these was when my friends and I ate at Full Tank CDO near Grand Central, if you ever visited the place just mentioned, let me know in the comments! :)

Now, going back to the card, would you believe me if I said that I got a discount? Yep, you read that right! Since I ordered 3 drinks, the initial price was lowered down. If my memory serves me right, I was told that once all the tiny circles printed on it get covered with stickers, you'll get a free drink! So, if you are planning to make this place your go-to tambayan, you can always make use of the loyalty card as your ticket to a free beverage! :)

Back then, I would always opt for milk teas, but when I turned 16, I don't know what got into me that I switched to embracing Fruit Tea Supremacy HAHAHA! And so, I ordered a Kiwi Refresher. My brother and cousin who I came to the place with ordered Spanish latte and Iced Cappuccino. I don't want to sound bias but I'm here to tell you that their drinks are to die for!

As for the affordability, I have cultivated the habit of stalking Café accounts before even going to the actual place just so I can take the area as well as the menu prices into anticipation. This became a good practice of mine and I think it wouldn't hurt if you'd try it too! Take it from someone who's fond of hunting cafés! :D

Overall, I truly loved the sensation of sitting on one of their stools while enjoying the place. The food, interior and accommodation truly did justice to their mantra, "for love & coffee". The ambience it has is top tier.
